Medical tourism is the act of going overseas for medical care/procedures, and the term is used explicitly to refer to the industry that has sprung up around this practice.
The answer is “it depends”. Where is your country of origin? Most simply use a short term general visa (C-3 short term) but some developing countries may need a short term medical visas (C-3-M). We require a short term medical visa in all cases just to err on the side of caution for a period of 90 days, and as we are registered with KHIDI for medical tourism, you can apply for one directly through us and we will help you obtain one.
You sure can! You can travel with other members – or we might be able to help you arrange a normal visa for a non-patient, but please be aware that for other patients we cannot possibly sync your schedules, so you may need to wait for their convenience. Discuss this option with us via a consultation so that we can make arrangements in this special case.
For any other questions or concerns, please call us or email us for more information. We will be happy to address any questions or concerns you have as our trained staff is ready and waiting for just such an occasion.
