Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival

Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival is one of the Korean Festivals that you cannot miss. Yeojwacheon Bridge, Gyeonghwa Station, and Anmingogae Road are ranked as the top three must-sees. With cherry blossom trees standing beside the roads, you can enjoy taking beautiful pictures under the flower rain.

Gyeonghwa Station is the most famous spot for photography in Jinhae.  It is an abandoned railway station. Every year during the Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival, a train will be stopped at the station. You can walk on the track that is covered with flowers, enjoin street shows, and take pictures with your beloved.

Boryeong Mud Festival

Location: Simintap Square and Daecheon Beach Mud Square (123 Meodeu road, Boryeong City, Chungcheongnam-do)

It is the most attractive Korean summer festival for foreign visitors. In the duration of the festival, a large number of travelers gather on the beach, playing games together, playing mud sliding and mud wrestling.  Special activities like mud massage, mud bath are provided. Besides, people can also enjoy Kpop concerts, fireworks, and photo exhibitions.

This must be the most fascinating Korean festival in autumn. Indeed, you will be amazed by the extraordinarily beautiful fireworks, lighting up the sky of Seoul. Moreover, seating alongside the Hangang river, you can enjoy the night scene, street performance, and street food at the same time.

Tip: If you are in your recovery time, and you are bored with staying at the hotel. It’s a good choice to come out to have some fresh air at the Hangang River. As you can join camping alongside the river in the afternoon, ordering some chicken and beer, you will not want to miss it. After that, you also can occupy a good seat to better enjoy the fireworks performance at night.

Jeongdongjin Sunrise Festival

Period:  31st December – 1st January of the new year

Location:  Sandglass Park, Jeongdongjin Beach (Jeongdongjin2-ri, Gangneung city, Gangwon-do)

Don’t miss it if you are going to travel to Korea during the new year holiday. Take a midnight train from Seoul to Jeongdongjin. When you arrive at the beach, it is exactly the right time to observe the first new year sunrise. Enjoying the beautiful scenery, make a new year wish for yourself and your beloved.
